PhotoHunt Theme # 205 - "Three (3)" - Our three cats

This week's PhotoHunt theme # 205 is "three (3)". There is so much that could be done with this theme. For example, I am already very impressed by what "East Coast Life" has posted entitled "Three-Inch Lotus Shoes"! By comparision, my post is very ordinary.

I have chosen "three (3)" of something that I have at home -- our three cats! Unfortunately, I could not get them all in the same photo. But here they are, one at a time, our "three" cats:

Calle, our ginger-gentleman-cat and ambassador;

Cajsa, the oldest, our adventurous, outdoor tuxedo-she-cat;

and Cajsa's black and white daughter, Sara, our smallest cat.

Sara is a very shy indoor-cat.
Right now I feel as lazy and tired as she looks here sleeping in her igloo.
Happy Weekend!
Anna

PhotoHunt theme # 201 "Cuddly"

This week's PhotoHunt theme # 201 is "Cuddly". My question to you folks is, in this menagery of books and cuddly-toys, where is the kitty?

Last I woke up last Sunday morning to find Sara nessled in among the children's various toys and books that found their way into the old crib, that Sara has adopted as one of her napping places. (Sorry about the focus; it was a quick, handheld shot.)
Happy Weekend!

Sara Cat bit Elisabet today

The children, Erik and Elisabet, had been playing with our boy-cat, Calle, all week. Calle Cat is a very kind and understanding tom, who never bites. If the children go too far, he just walks away. The girl-cats are not that nice. They can scratch and bite.

Calle was at the farm today. So Erik and Elisabet decided to play "kidnap-the-cat" with Sara Cat. Big mistake. Sara bit Elisabet's index finger so that it bled. She has already had a tetanus shot, so she did not have to get one now. But since her hand is swollen, she has to take antibiotics for a week and bathe her sore finger in a mild desinfectant. Elisabet sat bundled in the foldable stroller when we waded ten to fifteen blocks through the snow to get to the clinic.

So now you know why I haven't gotten that much done with my blog yet.

Hugs and best wishes,
Anna

P.S.
I removed my "Dropaholics"-widget from my blog today. It seems that technical problems made it difficult to maintain. Pity. I thought that was fun.

I did it! I posted something every day in November 2009

I did it. Yesterday was the last post for November. Now I have succeeded in posting something on this blog for 30 days for NaBloPoMo 2009!
Now I can finally let my cat Sara get back to blogging and I can take a rest.
Happy December!
